Gas Technician

Hunters Home Heating is looking for the following:

Gas Techs G2/G3 (Installs & Service)

Refrigeration (Installs & Service)

Sheet Metal ( Installs)

Duties:

– Perform gas technician duties including installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and equipment.
– Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
– Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with gas systems and equipment.
– Repair or replace faulty components or parts.
– Ensure proper ventilation and gas flow in systems.
– Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with gas systems.

Experience:

– Previous experience as a gas technician or in a related field is preferred.
– Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
– Proficient in using tools and equipment required for gas system installation and repair.
– Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
– Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to gas systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00-$60.00 per hour

Monday to Friday
On call

Espanola, ON P5E 1H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Gas (preferred)
Air conditioning & refrigeration license (preferred)
