The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is seeking a 1 Year (52 weeks) Museum Curator Intern to analyze, assemble and catalogue historical pieces throughout the Municipality.
The Main duties are as follows:
• Research and compile historical information.
• Learn as much about Central Manitoulin’s history.
• Collect and catalogue historic pieces.
• Plan and prepare exhibits and displays.
The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is rich in history. The mission of this year long internship is to preserve what has already been established and build upon it.
Salary: Pay will range from $20.00-26.00 per hour. This depends on the applicant’s experience.
The hours of operations are Monday-Friday with some weekend/long weekend to be expected during high volume seasonal times.
Expected hours: 35 per week.
