Residential Youth Worker

To provide the best care and safety to children and youth between the ages of 10 to 17 years of age who experience emotional, physical, and behavioural challenges. To work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team in implementing behaviour management programming and non-violent crisis intervention techniques. Complete charting of the child’s day to day activities, contacts, access, incident reports and serious occurrence reports. Teach the children and youth life skills, coping strategies, social skills, and emotion regulation. Actively participate in the child’s day to day activities
